About Entrepreneuriality Elements

Statement
This is a personal blog, a place where i want to have some fun. Anything expressed here are personal ramblings and has nothing to do with my employer and the company i work for.

The Initial Concept
Whoa. What’s this, the concept? Well, to be honest, actually there was a concept above all elements. The initial idea of Entrepreneuriality Elements was entrepreneurship. No, please don’t laugh, I’m serious :-P.

When I thought about starting this blog, I want to have a kind of entrepreneurship and small business development related blog. I want to write in Bahasa Indonesia about those things and empower my people. Yeah, those things. Lol.

The Name
I had no choice. You can check any domain registrar and try find some domains that can developed into entrepreneurship. You know what? You can’t. Entrepreneur.com (no, you can’t, it is even a ‘registered trademark’, what a pity), entrepreneurship.com, entrepreneur101, entrepreneurblog.com, anything, you name it. All good names are taken.

Some who took these domains even are just arbitrars, spam blogs (you name it), you know, websites that are just links. Paid, sponsored links, whatever. So like I said, I had no choice. I must think of something that can fit entrepreneurship and my character, until I found entrepreneuriality.com.

It’s just another catchy name, fine. I just want to sound like ‘entrepreneur’ if you know what I’m saying . So I started to post things. Articles, thoughts, book reviews, business cases, everyday office politics, anything I can think of that related to entrepreneurialities in Indonesian Language.

The Change
After a while, I realize that I don’t have that much to write about. I hate to understand that the theories, concept and logical thinking of entrepreneurship can’t be applied to third world country like one I live. It’s obsolete. Your choice is either to work on daily jobs to get paid, or just start an ‘ordinary’ business. Cashing in some, then that’s it. People don’t care about entrepreneurship, profit, values and growth. Entrepreneurship in Indonesia is just a meaningless phrase. Well it’s not even a phrase. It’s a thing that does not exist. I am sorry, that’s what I feel.

So, after running out of ideas for weeks, I decided to change the blog into English language. Why? Simply because, when seeing my subscription in my news aggregator, I thought I can put enough stories, views, reviews of the world of entrepreneurship and small business development. After 2 posts, I realize I was a moron. That doesn’t work. There are zillions people out there who can blog about this topic that are zillion times better than me. So, what should I do?

The New Concept
Yeah now I came to the new concept. It was actually inspired from a dude that I lost respect. I used to admire this guy. He’s young and often mentions entrepreneurial thinking to his work. Until I found out that he is just another office politicians that act bullshitly right at work. That’s it. It is entrepreneuriality. It’s not as fun as it sounds. It’s about politics and bloody serious things. It could feed your needs but it can also kill you.

I decided want to be paradox. I always have rebellious thoughts. I want to blog in a site named entrepreneuriality.com, which I assemble as a serious thing, and put nothing but jokes on it. I don’t want to be killed by entrepreneurialities. Instead, I want to live it. I want it to be effectively affected my life and bring me to productive mode at most of my times.

Here I am trying to live entrepreneuriality by having fun. I try to enjoy it like it’s not a serious thing. And because this is a public site, where anyone can visit, I just think that I will need to share my rambling jokes with you, entrepreneuriality.com visitors.

I just hope I can cheer your heart from seriously serious entrepreneurialities. I truly hope so.

So cheers.

It's done. You can now back to blog.
